We Pray

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer,

believe that you have received it

and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24

Unity is a ministry founded on the power of prayer.  It was through prayer that our co-founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, received significant and seemingly miraculous healings.  Prayer always has been central to Unity and to our ministry at Unity Church of Bonita Springs.

Our Favorite Prayers

The Prayer for Protection

The light of God surrounds me;

The love of God enfolds me;

The power of God protects me;

The presence of God watches over me.

Wherever I am, God is!

The Prayer for Protection was written by the late James Dillet Freeman, poet laureate of the Unity movement and director of Silent Unity.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven

Hallowed be Thy name

Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done

In earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive us our debts

As we also have forgiven our debtors.

And leave us not in temptation

But deliver us from evil,

For Thine is the kingdom

And the power and the glory, forever!

Amen.
